Following on from its official announcement last month, we now know that The Mummy Demastered game will be released on October 24, making it the perfect Halloween treat for horror gamers.
WayFord, who are developing and publishing the game in collaboration with Universal, confirmed the release date in the tweet below.

Set during the events of this year’s film, The Mummy Demastered will follow a soldier working for Prodigium, the secret organisation led by Dr. Jekyll, who fight to keep monsters at bay. It won’t have Tom Cruise, but it will have a boss fight with a giant spider.
Because the Bride of Frankenstein film has been delayed indefinitely, it appears that The Mummy Demastered will be the only new story set in the world of Universal’s Dark Universe for quite some time. It will be available on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Steam, and if you missed it earlier, you can have a look at the trailer below in all its 16-bit glory.
